The CAAF Executive Management Team consists of the Chief Executive, Executive Manager Air Safety, Executive Manager Ground Safety, Executive Manager Aviation Security and Facilitation, Executive Manager Standards and Compliance, and Executive Manager Corporate Services.
GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP
Good governance will ensure that the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji remains on track to achieve our Vision, Mission, and Objectives and that our strategies are dynamic and adaptable to the ever-changing civil aviation environment. Our budget must clearly reflect our core function and areas of focus.
The CAAF Board is appointed by the Minister to ensure that the Authority performs its functions in accordance with the CAAF Act 1979 and is well managed to ensure that any risks are identified early and prudently managed.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji leadership team consists of a Chief Executive and five (5) Department Heads; Executive Manager Aviation Security and Facilitation (EMASF), Executive Manager Air Safety (EMAS), Executive Manager Ground Safety (EMGS), Executive Manager Standards and Compliance (EMCS) and Executive Manager Corporate Services (EMCS). The Authority's leadership team works with the Board to set the strategic direction for the organisation, planning how it will achieve its objectives and the actions and resources required to do so. The leadership team manages the Authority’s risks and ensures the organisation operates effectively and efficiently, meeting regularly as a team and as and when required with the Board.
The Chief Executive is the Head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji. The current incumbent is Theresa Levestam.
The Executive Manager Ground Safety is the Head of the Ground Safety Department. The current incumbent is Alisi Namoro.
The Executive Manager Air Safety is the Head of the Air Safety Department. The current incumbent is Isikeli Waqa.
The Executive Manager Aviation Security & Facilitation is the Head of the Aviation Security & Facilitation Department. The current incumbent is Aisake Rigamoto.
The Executive Manager Standards and Compliance is the Head of the Standards Department. The current incumbent is Sereima Bolanavatu.
The Executive Manager Corporate Services is the Head of the Corporate Services Department. The current incumbent is Wickramage Shihantha Niroshana Perera.
